On February 16th, 2012 a mother raccoon and her babies were removed from a well inside an outdoor furniture store by Joel Frost of Gates Wildlife. The discovery of babies in Toronto at this time of year is about three weeks ahead of schedule. The mild December weather we experienced had raccoons mating sooner than they normally would have.

Mar 25, 2012 - You should not have left it up to the mother to relocate her brood herself. You simply permitted those raccoons to become someone else's problem. Instead, you should have taken all of the raccoons to a remote wilderness area and then released them. That way they would be back in the wild and not in someone else's yard or building.
